More than a century of corrugating leadership
Performance. Energy savings. Synthetic replacement. Profitability. We understand the challenges you face in meeting increasing demands in corrugating. As the only full-service adhesive supplier to the corrugating industry, we’ve been responding to the challenges with better answers and the highest quality starch and performance additives for decades.
Need a higher level of bonding or the ability to achieve greater machine speeds with less waste? We can help, bringing years of experience and a full line starch, performance additives and resins to help optimize your corrugating adhesive formulations.
STARCH ADHESIVE SOLUTIONS
Pearl starch, or unmodified starch, has been traditionally used for starch adhesive. With the introduction of high performance papers and increased use of recycled paper, the right formulas must be established with the best viscosity, percent solids and adhesive temperature. Modified, or carrier starches, when used in conjunction with pearl starch, can provide an increase in solids for better bonding and ability to achieve faster machine speeds.
Ingredion offers a full line of starch products to meet your adhesive formulation needs. Our experienced technical sales team can help optimize your corrugator’s performance and recommend the best product based on board type, starch preparation methods and corrugating equipment requirements.
PERFORMANCE ADDITIVES AND RESINS
CORAGUM® performance resins and additives are used in conjunction with our corrugating starches to provide water resistance to the finished board as well as improve board quality and corrugator performance. Look to the CORAGUM® product line to help optimize your adhesive formulation to meet specific quality and equipment needs.
